These Terms & Conditions set out the rules governing the use of the Light Me online store and the purchase, payment, delivery and return of products.

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Light Me website and the purchase of products offered through the online store.
Light Me offers scented candles, reed diffusers and other home fragrance products presented on the website.
We make reasonable efforts to present product descriptions, dimensions, quantities, fragrances and images as accurately as possible. Minor differences in appearance may occur due to screen settings, photographic conditions or the handcrafted nature of certain products.
Product availability is subject to stock. Products that are unavailable cannot be ordered while they are marked as out of stock.
Product prices are displayed in Romanian lei (RON). The price applicable to an order is the price displayed on the website when the order is placed.
Delivery charges, where applicable, are displayed separately before the order is completed.
If an obvious pricing or technical error occurs, we may contact the customer before processing the affected order in order to clarify the situation, in accordance with applicable law.
Products are selected and added to the shopping cart. Before submitting an order, the customer has the opportunity to review the selected products, quantities, delivery information, applicable charges and total price.
By submitting an order through the checkout, the customer acknowledges that the order entails an obligation to pay.
After an order is submitted, the customer will receive information confirming receipt of the order using the contact details provided during checkout.
We reserve the right not to process an order where this is justified by circumstances such as lack of stock, invalid or incomplete information, inability to obtain payment, suspected fraud or another legitimate reason permitted by applicable law. Where payment has already been collected, amounts due will be reimbursed in accordance with applicable law.

The payment methods actually available for an order will be displayed before the order is submitted.
Online card payments will be processed through the payment service provider integrated into the website. Relevant information regarding that provider will be added to our legal documentation when the payment system is implemented.
At launch, orders are delivered within Romania through courier services.
Available delivery methods, any delivery restrictions, applicable costs and relevant delivery information will be presented during checkout before the order is submitted.
Estimated delivery times are provided for information. Where circumstances outside our reasonable control affect delivery, we will take reasonable steps to inform the customer.
Consumers purchasing online generally have the right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days from the day on which the consumer, or a third party indicated by the consumer other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the goods, subject to the exceptions provided by applicable law.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must inform us of the decision to withdraw through an unequivocal statement before the withdrawal period expires.

The consumer may also use any online withdrawal function made available on the website in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
After communicating the decision to withdraw, the consumer must return the products without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which the withdrawal was communicated.

Unless otherwise stated or required by law, the consumer bears the direct cost of returning the products.
The consumer is responsible only for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
In the event of a valid withdrawal, we will reimburse the payments received from the consumer, including the cost of standard delivery where required by law, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which we are informed of the decision to withdraw.
We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the returned goods or until the consumer provides evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
Refunds are made using the same means of payment used for the original transaction unless another method is expressly agreed and the consumer does not incur fees as a result.
Additional delivery costs resulting from the consumer choosing a delivery method more expensive than the least expensive standard delivery offered are not required to be reimbursed.
Products sold through Light Me benefit from the legal rights and remedies applicable to consumers in relation to the conformity of goods.
If a product is damaged, defective, incorrect or otherwise does not conform to the contract, please contact us at lightmestore24@gmail.com and provide information that allows us to identify the order and assess the issue.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes mandatory consumer rights provided by applicable law.
Customers must follow the use, care and safety instructions supplied with the products.
Candles must not be left burning unattended and should be kept away from children, pets, flammable materials and other hazards. Reed diffusers and fragrance products should be used in accordance with the instructions and warnings provided with the product.
These provisions do not exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.
Unless otherwise indicated, the content of the Light Me website, including branding, text, graphics, photographs, product presentation and design elements, is owned by or lawfully used by Light Me and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Website content may not be reproduced, distributed or used for commercial purposes without prior permission, except where such use is permitted by law.
We make reasonable efforts to keep the website accurate, secure and available. Temporary interruptions or technical errors may nevertheless occur.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

Consumers may also use the alternative dispute resolution mechanisms made available by the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC), where applicable.
These Terms do not affect the consumer's right to contact the competent consumer protection authorities or the competent courts.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Romanian law and applicable European Union consumer protection legislation.
Where the customer qualifies as a consumer, nothing in these Terms deprives the customer of mandatory protections granted under applicable consumer protection law.
We may update these Terms & Conditions when our services, business practices or applicable legal requirements change.
The version applicable to an order is the version made available to the customer at the relevant time, subject to applicable law. The latest version will be published on this page together with its update date.
